Usos del tiempo pasado simple
(using the past simple tense)
Usamos el tiempo pasado simple en las siguientes situaciones:
Situaciones que comenzaron y terminaron en el pasado en un momento determinado. Normalmente usamos referencias de tiempo (yesterday, last night, at two , etc.)
-I went for a walk yesterday morning.
-We didn’t watch TV las night.
-They arrived at three o’clock.
Una serie de acciones completas en el pasado, una detrás de la otra.
-I got up, went to the bathroom, and washed my face.
-She put on her coat, took her bag, and left home.
-We had dinner and then we watched a film.
Hábitos y acciones repetidas en el pasado que terminaron en el pasado.
-They played football when they were children.
-I always took the bus to go to school.
–Did you study any language when you were a child?
